Location: High up in Happy Valley, west of Malvern town centre above Belle Vue Terrace.
Description: a covered spring and seasonal stream.

In order to avoid confusion, it should be noted that Green Valley is the earlier name for Happy Valley. Like most of the valley springs on the east side of the hills, Green Valley Spring is rain dependent so runs dry in drought conditions. Stonework around the contained spring suggests that there may have been a trough accessible at ground level in the past.

The top of a nineteenth-century tank can be seen about 100 yards above the Happy Valley Spout as you climb the valley towards the source of the Green Valley Spring. This would have acted as a collector and header tank for supplying Green Valley Spring water to properties below.

Further up the valley above and to the west of the 19th century tank, at 778 feet O.D, is the spring that is channelled into a gully running down the side of the main path. In the 1840s the spring supplied many of the houses in the village, including the Unicorn, Foley Arms Hotel, Coburg Baths, Royal Library and Mount Pleasant. The overflow ran to Hay Well and from there to Spa Mill.
