Location: along an avenue of chestnut trees that crosses the estate.
Description: a natural spring at the foot of a slight bank.

To find this spring head down Harcourt Road and enter the gate on your right leading to Mathon Lodge Farm. Almost immediately on your right is the footpath lined with horse chestnut trees. After about 200 metres the spring is on your right between the embankment of the track and the higher ground, and beside a fallen tree. It was perhaps a landscaped pond that has now degenerated into a muddy patch as the grandeur of the estate slowly slips back to nature. The Avenue Spring lies on a plot that was sold off for building land in 1903. Designated plot 6/7, it was formerly part of the De Walden Estate before Hampton and Sons sold it at the Imperial Hotel Malvern on the 4 June.
