Location: Cowleigh Road (B4219), near Earl Beauchamp's Fountain.
Description: an iron pump, now abandoned, over a well.

This pump is situated in a small recess opposite Longways Cottage. It is typical of the cast iron pumps that supplied water to the inhabitants of bygone Worcestershire. Although no longer working, the pump appears to be largely intact and could perhaps one day be restored to working order. The well below is still in water and a submersible pump supplies water to the cottage opposite.

An inscription on the pump reads 'Hall of Worcester.' J & F Hall Ltd. were ironmongers and ironfounders in the Shambles, Worcester in the early part of the twentieth century. This long established hardware business was based in a 16th century timber framed building on the corner of The Shambles and Church Street. Its demolition in the 1960s raised an outcry from the public. Its replacement, a characterless monstrosity, now houses a jewellers.
